GENRE

We were assigned to a task in class where we watched 3 different YouTube video's, and noted down where it was Performance, Narrative or Concept based, the Genre Expectations and Examples of the music video's where this information became evident. Here are the notes I took:

Pretty girls - lots of body shots - dance routines - nothing too explicit - skimpy clothes.

Unusual images, close-ups of the band and the instruments, possibly disturbing?

Masks - close-ups of the lead singer, mirrors, bonoculars, different body shapes.

All of them.
Genre Expectations?        
Humorous, tracksuits, chavs, lead singer talking to the camera, girls.
Examples?           
Pictures - on holiday with girls, him talking in the pictures, walking in the streets, inter-textual references.
